Well, it's been a milestone week at home - Aurora is officially at school. I expected to feel a little sadder than I did taking her to her first day as a "preppie" - instead, I felt then, and I feel now, a great sense of joy and expectation at the opportunity and potential in front of her. It's only been a week, but I've been really quite thrilled to hear about her "at school" - what they did, doing sport for the first time, making friends, playing. I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon, but for now, it's genuinely heart-warming. She looks pretty grown up in her uniform - see below for a pic. In the weeks to come, we'll see how she takes to school in general. At the end of this week, she was just exhausted by it all (understandably!). Exciting times :) I can't wait to see how it goes :)
