I had a great weekend just gone. Friday night was pretty uneventful - just relaxing after a big week. Saturday morning I jumpstarted my car (dead battery) and took it for a long drive, which I hadn't done in a long time. It was relaxing. We then packed up and headed out to Seville to have lunch and the afternoon with our friends Gav, Megan and their two kids. More relaxing. When we got home, Aurora had a meltdown... massively. Not so relaxing, but it only lasted an hour or so, and we all made it through alive. Sunday morning was pretty chilled at home and for the afternoon Steph and Atticus went out to lunch with Granny, Aurora and I headed over to a mate's to play Guitar Hero: Metallica. Aurora had a ball playing with Cameron (4 years old), while Chris and I ripped it up on GH: Metallica. It's by far the best of the Guitar Hero games I've played. I played it on Medium, and it was really, really challenging. It was awesome playing tracks (very loudly) such as Fight Fire With Fire, Dyers Eve, Battery, The Shortest Straw, For Whom The Bell Tolls, and Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" (really, quite freakin' hard on the bass). I'll definitely be getting this game - a lot of fun was had. So, that was the weekend in a nutshell, pretty relaxing, but it seemed to go pretty quickly as well. Long weekend coming up this weekend, looking forward to spending that with one of our interstate friends coming over.
