Not the most upbeat post
I heard yesterday that the US reached a new milestone in Iraq - the official death toll for US soldiers in Iraq passed 4,000 lives. What a tragic loss, for what seems like little gain, or at least gain that is not consequentially related to the US's presence in Iraq. And what's worse? Iraqi deaths since the US occupation run at over 90,000. That's right; for every one US life lost, almost 23 Iraqi citizens have died. It just doesn't seem right.
