Farewell Huckle
Today was the end of an era and a very sad day in the Neumann household. Huckle, our family cat for just on 8 years now, was put to sleep today, as he started to show real signs of his battle with cancer. Huckle was the first cat I've ever had, and really was a special pet for me - we had a great relationship. My fondest memory of him will be playing with him on the deck, rolling around in the morning sun patting his belly the day I married Steph. I'll miss him incredibly - dodging him rubbing on my suit before work, his extremely annoying crying for biscuits, the biscuit snuffling when he's eating Button's biscuits (when he's not allowed to) and his purring and snoring when lying on the back of the couch. I'll always have a special place in my heart for him, and always smile when I see him in his books. And when Steph and I inevitably break into song about him... Here's to you Huckle, rest in peace buddy.
