The Lib Roundup (some in, some out)
It was a bit sad to see Mal Brough lose his seat tonight. I didn't always agree with his policies, but he had great conviction, and his concession speech was one of the finest I've seen.
Peter Costello's speech weren't bad either. He seemed almost human (think it was the lack of tie that did it). Almost gives me hope for Tony Abbott (who has been conspicously absent tonight). I can't believe Costello's speech just got cut short by Howard arriving at the Wentworth - how very metaphoric.
Howards speech is making me ANGRY (and I'm drunk as well - not a good combo). Lot of sighing from the other couch as well. We may yet see some shit thrown at the TV... however she may yet be appeased with the $10 that finds its way to her wallet tomorrow.
