Well today was a corker of a day. And so should it have been - it was our 5 year wedding anniversary. So, what did we do? Both Steph and I took the day off from work and Aurora went to daycare. First up, we drove into St. Kilda and had breakfast at Deveroli's, where we used to have breakfast on the weekend when we first got together. We both had a glass of champagne and some yummy food. After that, we wandered around Acland St, checked out some shops (I got some drumsticks, and we bought some books). Then we swung by the new SDM office (so I could show Steph) and headed down Chapel St to the Jam Factory. An unplanned day in general, we got there about 12:10pm, to see that "Michael Clayton" was starting in Gold Class at 12:20pm, so we decided to give that a go. Given it was over lunch, we indulged and had some beers/wine and a 3 course lunch during the movie. Oh, and there was no one else in Gold Class, so we had the cinema to ourselves! Bloody good film too - I really enjoyed it. As Steph said "we literally got to put our feet up for a couple of hours" - which almost never happens. Went for a bit more of a wander in the sun after that down Chapel St, then drove home. Steph had a nap, I dealt with the flood of new emails in my inbox, picked up Aurora, and here we are now. Both very relaxed and very much in love. Happy Anniversary Steph! I loves ya.
