We're on holidays!... but you're not going to get to read this until we're back, as I'm blogging offline and will publish when we get back to Melbourne. So, where's our exotic destination? Echuca / Moama (which we're deliberately mispronoucing Eck-hooka, Mome-ma just for the fun of it)

Drove up here yesterday (Monday) in a fairly leisurely manner (it took us almost 4 hours to get here with all the stops along the way). Aurora did not enjoy the ride at all. Usually she's quite good in the car, but she didn't want to have a bar of it yesterday, and pretty much yelled, whinged and screamed the whole way (which, as you could imagine, wore our nerves a little raw after the first 3 hours). But we made it here without incident, and the place we're staying is great - it's own little 2BR unit, a home away from home. We've got everything we need here, and once we went and stocked the fridge, it felt like we had everything (except the cats that is)

So far, it's really quite beautiful up here, and quite relaxing. I've been (wrongly) taking the piss out of our trip up here for a while, not expecting a great deal. Now I'm here, I'm pleasantly surprised and quite looking forward to the next couple of days. Today we're off for a couple of walks, maybe a trip along The Murray on a paddlesteamer, some nice food and a whole lotta chilling out.
