Today is the day Nicole Emma Butler, my cousin, was born. Well, today 20 years ago. Today is the day she leaves her teens, which is a pretty big thing in anyone's life I think. Nicky (as she is most commonly known) is a very emotional girl, sometimes easily overwhelmed by the happy and the sad. She is also a very clever girl, keeping up a pattern of "book learnin' smart girls" in the family. Honestly, I don't know enough about Nicky as a friend or from an objective point-of-view; she'll always be "my cousin", and that little girl that I cuddled, made laugh and played with from the day she was born. Nicky has a good heart and has a lot to offer the world.
