So, that was that. No more Wijojo drinks I've decided (or not that I'm going to organise at least). I've been organising drinks sessions every 3 to 6 months with the Wijojo crew for a good 4 or so years now. And mostly some people turn up - the usual suspects. I arranged the latest drinks for tomorrow night, but only got one "what's happening with drinks?" email, one "I'm in!" email and three "bummer, can't comes". No responses from the vast majority though. So I'm over trying to coerce these people into a catchup. Bugger it. We had some great catchups and some fun, but my perspective on life has definitely changed, and I'm not going to waste time on exercises in futility. I'm not pissed - don't get me wrong - a little disappointed, for sure. But I'll just do the one-on-one catchups as I feel like it. Yep, that's it.
