Ups and Downs
So, yesterday was a reasonably full-on Aurora day. The entire morning was pretty much spent feeding - she was awake I think for the whole time. The afternoon we (her) had naps, and then we had crying crying crying from about 6pm to 8pm. Once written down, it doesn't seem so bad, but at the time, it feels like an eternity. I paced up and back in her room for what seems like 4 months last night. I stopped counting laps at 100. But then she went down, we quickly scoffed dinner, and it was then time for another feed.
On the up side, she slept last night from 10pm to 5am, and then again from 6am to 10am. Unbroken sleep is a godsend. I fear though that today is going to be loud and long. And we've got two sets of visitors coming over. And it's my last day of official holidays. Still concerned about my return to work tomorrow - I have visions of this zombie like creature sitting at my desk, sending rogue emails that make no sense and committing to do things that in no shape or form I could do. In any case, should be fairly entertaining for everyone else I imagine.
