So, my life is imminently going to change, but I still can't find the time to blog. I'm a little depressed by this, as I'd like to be able to regularly update all my avid readers (sorry, I mean reader) about the state of Andy's mental, physical, spiritual and virtual worlds.

Things I've wanted to comment on in the past 2 weeks, but haven't found the time to:

• Sydney racist violence still really concerns me.
• Saw the latest Harry Potter, wasn't too bad. Nice effects.
• Have hurt my back again. This is starting to unnerve me a little, as this time round I didn't do anything (from memory) that would result in muscle pain like this.
• I'm loving Ricky Gervais' podcast. If you haven't checked it out, do so: http://www.guardian.co.uk/rickygervais
• I haven't got around to posting samples from the Erotic Mules last session (titled the "Eve of Halloween Eve" jam). Listened to it again today... incredibly entertainng stuff.
• Microsoft purchased UMT (http://www.umt.com/) on Friday, who provide Portfolio and Project Management solutions. This looks awesome for what I do, I'm actually really excited about this, and Project12
• I (finally) got G3: Live in Tokyo (Satriani, Vai, Petrucci) on CD. Excellent stuff, especially Vai's "The Audience Is Listening" live.
• Christmas tree is up, shopping is done, wrapping (urgh) still to do.
  

OK, that's a bit of a roundup.

Secretly hoping Jaws comes a little early, but not before Saturday. We're at the pointy end now. Even though she's not due for another 12 days, it could happen any time. I've got to get my shit together and pack a bag for myself...
