Bought myself a Firewire card for the PC today. $35 later I'm currently transferring from the TAPE on my video camera to my PC. Not that freakin' hard... but a pain in the ass to get it up and running with a distinct lack of help from Canon.

And I think at some point this week we'll find out who wins Australian Idol... but after the next ad break, or perhaps after this pissy medley, or flashback or whatever...
